Founded by Miranda Kerr in 2009, KORA Organics is a certified organic skin care line based in both Australia and US.
Challenge
KORA Organics came to the team I led at Superbolt Agency back in 2021 to help them manage their Shopify Plus AU and US stores. They were also in the middle of rebranding and was looking for a partner to help them redesign and launch a new site.
Approach
We first spoke with Kathryn Bain from Georgette who was working on the updated brand guideline to understand the overall vision and what was important to factor in with the new brand guideline.
We spoke with the KORA Organics team — both AU and the US teams to understand their business needs and identified what apps and functionality they wanted to keep, and what was missing in the existing build.
We then put together wireframes to map out the new site journey, consolidating some pages, removing others and adding new ones as needed.
High-fidelity mockups were then put together and presented to the KORA team — the final draft was also shared with Miranda Kerr.
Once the designs were fully approved, we moved into development phase, working with the KORA team to make sure that photography and content assets were also being produced on time, as they were also working on updating all their photography as well.
Finally, close to launch, we worked with the KORA team to put together a launch game plan and executed the launch without a hitch.

We started the project early in 2023, and successfully launched the site just before Labor Day weekend, right on schedule. Since launch, we have continued to partner with them on an on-going basis, helping their team with:
